Services

What services does VLJ Construction provide?

We provide tri-axle dump truck hauling, asphalt milling (profile and full-depth), and concrete recycling. We support both public-works (FDOT, county, municipal) and private commercial projects.

What is your service area in Florida?

We serve all of Florida, with concentrated capacity in FDOT Districts 1 (Southwest and central Florida) and 7 (Tampa Bay region). We have crews and equipment, plus a statewide hauling network, that can deploy for the right project.

Do you handle public-works and private commercial projects?

Yes, both. We support FDOT prime contractors on federal-aid and state-funded road and bridge projects, and we work directly with general contractors and property owners on commercial site work, dump truck hauling, and asphalt milling.

Bidding & Process

What is the typical project size you take on?

We have delivered FDOT contracts ranging from $1M to $10M+ and support private commercial work of any scale. Our access to a network of 100-plus tri-axle dump trucks gives us the capacity to commit dedicated hauling resources to large multi-month projects while continuing to support smaller emergency-response work.

How do I submit a bid invitation or RFP?

General contractors, government agencies, and project owners can submit bid invitations and RFPs through the contact form on our Contact page, by email to stephen@vljconstruction.net, or by phone at (844) 258-7825. For best results, include project location, scope, expected schedule, and bid due date.

Operations

Is VLJ Construction Services FDOT-prequalified?

Yes. VLJ Construction Services, Inc. is on the Florida Department of Transportation's prequalified contractor list and regularly supports FDOT prime contractors on public-works projects across the state.

How much hauling capacity can you provide?

We coordinate a network of more than 100 tri-axle dump trucks operated by independent owner-operators, managed through our own dispatch team. That network lets us commit dedicated truck capacity to large projects while flexing to emergency response needs. Each hauler is independently licensed, insured, and responsible for its own equipment and DOT compliance.

Who leads day-to-day operations at VLJ?

Stephen Disney is President and runs day-to-day operations. The leadership team has decades of combined experience in Florida road and site-work construction.

Bonding & Insurance

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes. VLJ Construction Services maintains full bonding capacity and comprehensive commercial insurance coverage appropriate for public-works and large commercial construction work. Specific bonding and insurance details are provided directly to bidders upon request.

Safety

What is your safety record?

We maintain an excellent safety record across our operations, with active programs covering crew training, equipment maintenance, hazard reporting, and traffic-control protocols. Safety documentation is provided upon prime contractor or owner request.
